Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is the latest installment in the most popular movie series in the world.

For the fourth episode of our new ‘I Love Filming In…’ series for Creative England (in partnership with The GREAT Campaign), we look at how the creative team behind Star Wars utilized the picturesque locations of the English regions to create new planets, new worlds and a new rebel base.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and more. Shooting locations included Puzzlewood, Derwentwater, Black Park, Pinewood Studios among others.
