20th Century Fox – Hidden Figures – Content Marketing

Client: 20th Century Fox
Production Company: Artery Industries
Production Services: Mothership UK
Director: Sinuhe Xavier
DOP: Zsolt Sándor
Sound: Steve Horwood

After our success working with Los Angeles based Artery Industries on content marketing films for the Oscar-winning feature ‘The Revenant’ and several product films for Specialized bikes, MOTHERSHIP was engaged by Artery once again:

This time to provide UK production services on this content marketing video production, supporting the release of 20th Century Fox’s latest flagship release ‘Hidden Figures’. Produced by Pharrell Williams,  the feature tells the untold story of the brilliant African American women who worked on NASA’s moon landing mission.

We organized the UK production, provided crew, insurance, transportation and logistics – and our founder Zsolt Sandor shot the interview and b-roll footage on an Arri Amira with Arri Ultraprime and Canon Cinezoom lenses.

The film was released online by 20th Century Fox ‘s YouTube channel

Royal Armouries Museum – Warrior Treasures: Stuart Makin, Blacksmith – Education Documentary

Producer/Director: Zsolt Sándor
Camera: Adam Lyons/Zsolt Sándor
Original Music: Isobel Waller-Bridge
Camera Assistant: Zoe Opal East
Editor: Zsolt Sándor

Commissioned by the Royal Armouries Museum, Mothership UK was asked to create a video for ‘Warrior Treasures’, a temporary exhibition featuring incredible artefacts of gold from the world famous Staffordshire Hoard. The Staffordshire Hoard is the largest collection of Anglo-Saxon gold items ever found.

Our video features Stuart Makin, a blacksmith/artist, who was commissioned to create a large steel sculpture responding to items displayed in the exhibit. Original music for the film was composed by Isobel Waller-Bridge (BBC’s Fleabag; War and Peace).

The sculpture, our film and the gold were all on display to the public at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds for over three months across the summer of 2016.

We shot the video in 4K UltraHD on Sony FS7 and Panasonic GH4 cameras using our Atomos Ninja Assassin monitor/recorder unit and Canon L series lenses.

Royal Armouries – Content Marketing

Client: Royal Armouries
Director: Zsolt Sándor

We were thrilled to film with the team at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds again after our ‘How To Train A Knight’ video helped lead to a sell-out success for their Easter Tournament in 2015.

This year, we created a fun parody video of what it takes to become ‘The Knight’s Apprentice’.

The performers were phenomenal – and the horses loved the shoot!
